Liam O’Keeffe - Founder and Chairman, Property Care Services Ltd

Liam O’Keeffe is Chairman and Founder of Property Care Services (Thailand) Limited, which he set up in 1967 as an operation of six. The group of companies now employs in excess of 20,000 people.
Originally from Dublin in Ireland, O’Keeffe moved to Thailand in 1963 at the age of 18. He has since become a naturalised Thai and has changed his surname to Ayudhkij.
PCS is Thailand’s leading integrated property support services company, with a vast network of branches and main offices in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chonburi, Khon Kaen, Korat , Haadyai and Phuket. The company continues to expand across the Asia/Pacific region, and currently maintains a presence in neighbouring Malaysia and Bangladesh.
O’Keeffe is also Director and Founder, along with Gerry Doyle, of the Irish Thai Chamber of Commerce, which was set up in 2002. He is involved in many business associations, and is a member, in particular, of the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand and a Director of the Bangkok Nursing Home Hospital.
A leading figure of philanthropy in Asia, O’Keeffe is a Director of Cheshire Homes Thailand, Support the Children Foundation Thailand, the Phya Thai Palace Restoration Committee and the Support the Children Foundation Chiang Mai, as well as many other organisations. He is also Vice-President of the Bangkok Nursing Home Association and former Chairman of the Thailand Business Coalition Against Aids.
A very successful businessman, O’Keeffe’s other passion is art. In 2006, he set up his own four-storey gallery, Liam’s Gallery, which energetically promotes talented Thai artists. In 2003, he published a book, Flavours: Thai Contemporary Art, which also aimed to highlight the artistic work coming from this region. It is regarded as a defining book in the local art world.
